Coronavirus Pandemic: UPDATE 11th May 2020

Further to the Prime Minister’s announcement on 10th May 2020,  Step 3 of the Government Statement states that the Hospitality industry may begin to slowly lift restrictions as from 4th July.  However, as per Scotland and Wales, we will remain TEMPORARILY closed until further notice, therefore all bookings made with us for JUNE will now be cancelled.  The health, safety and protection of our guests, the local area and ourselves remains of paramount importance.  We will re open only when our Government has instructed for us to do so and what safety measures we need to put into place in readiness for re-opening.

For guests booked to stay with us in JULY AND AUGUST, we will keep your reservation OPEN, in the hope that we may be able to re-open our doors. We will honour rooms rates for existing bookings that are deferred to 2021. Any guest who made a reservation with us and has had to cancel or we have had to cancel due to Covid-19, then we are happy to honour 2020 prices when the reservation was originally made. We are monitoring the Coronavirus situation on a regular basis and will keep you informed of relevant news and updates.  Please keep checking back at this page.

These remain challenging times for us all and if you do wish to re-book for a later date, then this can either be done securely online or please telephone us. If have any questions about future reservations or any other concerns or questions, then telephone or email enquiries@postofficehouse.com

Why not buy a gift voucher to give a loved one something to look forward to, either for later in the year or for 2021? Our vouchers can be any monetary value over £20, normally only valid for six months but due to these unprecedented times, we are happy to extend the time period to two years.

We would like to thank you for your many kind messages of support, some of you have telephoned us, others emailed or messaged via one of our social media platforms.  We also thank you for your understanding during these very difficult times.  In the meantime, please stay safe and look forward to welcoming you back or as a new guest to Post Office House as soon as we are in the position to open our doors again, hopefully in the very near future.

Sending you our best wishes

Simon and Claire
