Prices: All rooms per room, per night  *Excluding Christmas and New Year

*£85 – £105  (double occupancy) 
*£75 – £95    (single occupancy in a double room) 
*£70 – £90    (single occupancy in a twin room)

5% discount for seven nights or more booked, available throughout the year.

Due to COVID-19 for the safety of both guests and ourselves, we have reduced our capacity to two guest rooms with a maximum of four guests, where possible. (Pending Government legalisation) reservations for all three rooms will only be available for guests in a household bubble, i.e. four, five or six guests from the same household or a support bubble.  Please telephone or email us for support bubble bookings as availability will not show up online.  It is also advisable to telephone us if you cannot see availability online for the room(s) you wish as they may be `blocked’ out due to reduced capacity.

PRE-BOOKING POLICY: We are unable to accommodate dogs (other than assistance dogs), pets of any description or children under 15 years.  We are very sorry but reservations are not accepted for guests attending weddings, stag/hen/large birthday celebrations or similar party groups. We are a small bed and breakfast and this is to ensure comfort and consideration towards any other guests’ staying who are not part of the party/function group concerned.

STAY REQUIREMENT: *Minimum three-nights (1st April – 31st October); Minimum two-nights (1st November – 31st March). Two-night stay availability in High Season may be available if there is a gap left between bookings, please check availability for your required dates online or telephone us.

ONE-NIGHT STAYS:  We regret that one-night stays are not available.

DIRECT BOOKING: It is always better for you (and us too!) by booking directly. Reservations made through third-party online travel agencies such as booking dot com could cost more as we have to offset large commissions charged to us.

We accept Mastercard, Visa Credit and Debit cards. In order to minimise the risk from Covid-19 and for minimal handling, we regret that cash payments will not be accepted for the foreseeable future.

We regret that deposit and balance payments by American Express, Diners Club, bank transfer, cheque or Eurocheque are not accepted.

Deposit Policy

We require a non-refundable deposit, equal to the first night’s stay which is taken 14 days prior to arrival.

We only accept deposit payments by credit or debit card so please ensure that your card details are valid when making a reservation. We will then confirm your deposit by email.

We do not accept American Express, Diners Club or payments by bank transfer. Due to increasing bank charges, we no longer take payments by cheque.

Cancellation Policy

We are a small, independent business and cancellations can have a large impact on us, especially if we have turned away potential guests in favour of someone who has already booked and then cancels. We do, however, appreciate that unforeseen circumstances can happen and we try to be as understanding and helpful as possible in these cases.

  • There is no charge for cancellations outside 14 days, prior to arrival date.
  • Any cancellations made between 14 and 7 days will have the deposit retained for the first nights’ stay.
  • *Any cancellations made within 7 days will have the total cost of the stay charged.  If we are able to re-let any room(s) outside the first nights’ stay, then we will refund you the cost of any rooms re-sold, minus a fee of £10 to cover administration/transaction costs.
  • Should you not arrive for your booked stay (no-show) then the total cost of your reservation will be charged.

*Due to Covid-19, we will be flexible on cancellations 7 days and under if you have to cancel your reservation at short notice due to the following:

  • If you have a Covid test and the result is positive
  • Can provide proof of that you have had to self-isolate
  • Cannot travel beacuase of Government Guideline changes

If your stay with us is cut short due to changing restrictions, then we will only charge for the actual days you stayed. You will not be liable for the full cost of your reservation.  Please note this term only applies to reservations affected by Covid-19.

We strongly advise you take out appropriate travel insurance in the event that you have to cancel for any reason, including Covid-19 isolation requirements.

Romantic, Celebration & Surprise Occasions

We can arrange extras in your room to celebrate a special occasion, anniversary, landmark birthday or as a surprise gift for a loved one, such as Champagne or Prosecco, locally handmade chocolates from Cocoature or/and beautiful locally-grown artisan flowers by Ginger House Garden   

No need for you to do anything, just choose the gift(s) you would like and we will organise the rest!    Prices on request
